Morning Report, September 30, 2009

Mandarin, Little Brother, Rosenquist, Nico, Bucky, Trinidad, Fuji, Honey Bunny and Horsey ate this morning. Nico was present at first, but he later showed up on top of the POD (Portable On Demand) storage unit that's in our driveway. Shortly after I saw him he jumped on the house and then he probably climbed down the Crepe Myrtle in our neighbors' yard. He shared a bowl with Rosy.

Sammy is integrating into our household nicely. He runs through the house with several of the other cats and generally gets along with them. He went to the vet Monday (9/28) because we found evidence of worms and he got some treatment for this along with a booster of some of his original vaccinations. He can be pretty vocal, especially early in the morning. He's also very affectionate, although we still have to be careful with him as he might "latch on" to our hand or arm and tear it up. He hasn't done this for a week or so, and that's a step in the right direction.

  1. Your blog is a lot of fun. I might have to copy your approach and give a 'day in the life of my pets' post. It would be about my parrot flying around the house laughing, our recluse cat kicking us out of the basement, our howler cat saying he wants more food, the border collie yelling at us to go for a run, and our border collie/shepherd mix picking up our daughter from school. Now that I think about it, I could make a very entertaining post out of that :-) Thanks for stopping by my blog!
